Blessed by Friends

We continue to be blessed by our friends.  Whether it is good news or bad, we have really been blessed to have the wonderful group of friends here in Huntsville, and beyond.  Although it is nice to blaze some trails on your own, we are really lucky to have friends that have already extended their families.  Many of our questions are able to be answered by our friends who have already given birth and ones that are about to pop!  Our friends the Blount's are in the final days before the arrival of their son, William.  They will go in to be induced on Sunday night if she doesn't go into labor naturally this week.

Clark and I got talking about when we are that close to giving birth and wondering if we'll be as calm as Jason and Carrie seem, I hope so.

It looks like we are further along than we thought.  The doctors are telling us that we are now at 14 weeks instead of the original 13, but who know.  The Fuller Dome size could be throwing of measurements. :)

Speaking of large Fuller Dome's, my brother Cory and his wife Jen are bringing our Nephew Brock down to visit us in a couple of weekends.  This will be their first visit to our house here.  We are super excited for their visit and to get our hands on Brock.  Brock and his cousin will only be about 10 months apart when I am done brewing it to perfection.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers and hope to hear from you all soon!

Love, Reagan and Clark

The Heart is Strong

Just had another check up this morning and got to hear the heart beat.  Everything is good, the heartbeat is quick and strong.  I think I know why I am tired all the time, if the baby is using all of my energy to make that heart beat so fast.  Which in the big picture I don't mind so much.  I just don't like Clark's comments on our walks of who is panting harder, me or Nixon.

On another note, I just love my Doctor.  Dr. Callison rocks.  She is easy going and easy to talk to.  When she walked in this morning with me in "The Chair" and Clark in the other chair holding my purse, she just said "Welcome to the world of Gynocology" and chuckled.  I have been really lucky to find such great doctors her in Huntsville. Mostly through referals from friends, which is great.  I think by the end of Dr. Callison's career, she will have delivered all of the children of our supper club!

I will try to remember to scan in the ultrasounds that we have from the 8 weeks and 12 weeks.

I was mistaken, I thought we would find out the sex at the next appointment before we leave for England and Ireland, but it won't be for another 8 weeks, so May 19th.  That will be a nice late birthday present for Clark.  I am leaning towards it being a girl.  I think Clark is still holding out for a boy.

I just talked to my friend KB yesterday and she was telling me that they thought they were having a girl the whole time until delivery and found out it was indeed a boy.  So for Clark, hope springs eternal.

Hope this finds you all well.

About three months in...

We are about three months into this pregnancy and are starting to hit a sustainable stride.  I don't want to talk about the no hitter, but it looks like I might have hit the clear for the nausea in the mornings for now.  I am even sleeping through the night (Clark too, although he will deny it just to complain about the snoogle, pregnancy pillow).

I just had the first trimester screening yesterday.  Everything looks good and we'll get the blood test results back by Friday.  It was so cool to see the little one again in the ultrasound.  "It" was really moving around in there when they first started. It was amazing to see how much it had grown since our 8 week ultrasound.  It is moving it's arms and everything.  I showed Clark the pictures and how big it's head looks and he said that is probably typical for Fullers.  I assumed it was because we are so smart.  He said it was because my brothers dome is so large.

We have done a lot of the planning for the England, Ireland and Northern Ireland Trip we are taking next month.  We have the hotels set for London and Dublin, mainly because we realized that we are going to be over there during the Royal Wedding (which I am still waiting on my invitation for.)  We are going to wing it for most of our time in Ireland and Northern Ireland so that we can take our time going from place to place.  We are renting a car, which apparently I will be driving since Clark refuses to drive on the "wrong" side of the road.  It will be an interesting trip being 4+ months pregnant, but I wouldn't change any of it for the world.

We also just found out that Clark's sister Debbie is pregnant as well!  She is due a week before I am.  I guess the stars aligned for the McCarthy Clan at one point and blessed us all!
